DIPFASOCA was founded in 2010 in Cameroon. We originally operated under the name Moral Films Productions until 2016, when we changed the name to Divine Progress Films and Arts for Social Change in Africa (DIPFASOCA). This name change was motivated by our desire to use arts and cultural promotion to drive sustainable development in our communities and continent.
Focus Areas
SACFEST
SACFEST is DIPFASOCA’s annual arts and cultural festival that provides opportunities for artists, culture enthusiasts, and traditional games devotees to showcase their work, exhibit creations, and perform for the public.
Advocacy
We use art and media as tools for advocacy on important social issues like gender equality, child protection, health awareness, and more. Some of the issues we advocate on through art include peace education, HIV/AIDS awareness, sickle cell anemia, and trauma care.
Capacity Development
Our capacity building program focuses on nurturing talent and training the next generation of artists and creators. We offer workshops and training sessions to build skills for filmmakers, poets, theater performers, cultural fashion designers, and more.
Multi-media Productions
DIPFASOCA facilitates the creation of films, documentaries, theater shows, and other productions focused on social issues and community impact. We work with local artists to help them bring meaningful stories and messages to their audiences through their productions.
